VinFast’s new electric pickup truck concept

VinFast Auto, an electric vehicle manufacturer based in Vietnam, has unveiled its new electric vehicle concept, the VF Wild, at CES 2024, their first pickup truck.
The VF Wild concept is designed to cater to a new generation of consumers seeking innovation and eco-friendliness without compromising on performance and durability. The vehicle measures 209 inches (5324mm) in length and 79 inches (1997mm) in width, placing it in the mid-size pickup category. The VF Wild also features a flexible bed size, with a power-folding mid-gate that allows the bed length to expand from 5 to 8 feet when the rear seats are folded down automatically. This design provides the VF Wild with the largest bed in its segment. Additional features include a panoramic glass roof and digital side mirrors to improve aerodynamics.
The VF Wild concept was developed in collaboration with Australian design studio GoMotiv. The design, which took over 8,000 hours to develop, features a “Fluid Dynamism” aesthetic inspired by the flowing motion of a superhero’s cape in the wind. The vehicle’s name, “Wild”, represents “the force of nature” and embodies VinFast’s commitment to a sustainable future.
VinFast, a member of Vingroup, was established in 2017 and operates a state-of-the-art automotive manufacturing complex in Hai Phong, Vietnam. The company is committed to driving the advancement of the global smart electric vehicle revolution and to creating a sustainable future for everyone.
