SVOLT’s batteries are powering the Citroën ë-C3

The Citroën ë-C3 compact car is equipped with a traction battery from SVOLT, priced at 23,300 euros, with a range of up to 320 kilometers according to the WLTP standard.
The Citroën ë-C3’s battery is a lithium-ion phosphate variant, with a capacity of 44 kWh. This type of battery offers greater thermal and chemical stability compared to conventional lithium-ion batteries and can withstand more charging cycles. The ë-C3 can be charged at a fast-charging station with up to 100 kW of electricity, allowing its storage capacity to be topped up from 20% to 80% within 26 minutes.
Kai-Uwe Wollenhaupt, President SVOLT Europe, commented on the collaboration: “As a fully affordable electric car that is suitable for everyday use, the all-new Citroën ë-C3 really does have the potential to achieve a breakthrough in electromobility for a large customer group. We are proud that SVOLT is making a decisive contribution to this.” The partnership between Stellantis and SVOLT in developing the Citroën ë-C3 underscores their shared commitment to advancing electric vehicle technology.
