Rheinmetall wins €100 million+ contract from major OEM for electric drive module cooling & lubrication technology

Rheinmetall has secured a new order to supply several million electric oil pumps to a major OEM, valued over €100 million.

Production of the initial order is scheduled to begin in May 2024, this production uplift is set to start in February 2025 and continue for six years until December 2030.

Rheinmetall is a Tier 1 supplier for the customer, and this latest order further strengthens the Group’s presence in the electrification market, particularly with American original equipment manufacturers.

Rheinmetall’s electric oil pumps are noted for their compatibility with innovative dielectric solutions and they offer two key advantages: flexible installation in the electric drive module and a highly integrated, compact design due to a single carrier solution.
