Octopus’ Electroverse public chargers open to 1 million EV drivers in Germany

Octopus Energy has expanded its Electroverse platform to Germany, providing an additional one million electric vehicle (EV) drivers with access to hundreds of thousands of chargers.
Electroverse, a charge-on-the-go card and app, is integrated with major charge point brands in Germany, including IONITY, Aral Pulse, Allego, and EnBW. The platform is connected to nine out of ten EV charge points in Germany and offers access to hundreds of thousands of charge points from 600 brands across Europe.
The platform, launched in the UK in 2020, simplifies on-the-go charging for EV drivers by eliminating the need for multiple apps. Following its recent launches in France, Spain, and Italy, EV drivers in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, and Switzerland can now also sign up for Electroverse.
Electroverse enhances the EV charging experience with features such as an interactive global map that displays charge points and their availability, a route planner, in-car support with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Plug & Charge support, and more.
