Nima inaugurates 12 new 300 kW ultra-fast EV chargers in Stockholm

Nima Energy has inaugurated its first sites in Stockholm’s inner city. The company has introduced 12 charging points, each with a capacity of up to 300 kW, which can charge up to 300 km in approximately 15 minutes. This is part of Nima’s plan to establish a total of 50 ultra-fast EV charging points in central Stockholm, supporting the city’s goal of becoming emission-free by 2030.
The first two sites, located on Dag Hammarskjölds Väg in Diplomatstaden and Wennerbergsgatan at Kungsholmen, feature 8 and 4 charging points respectively. Each charging point has a capacity of up to 300 kW, offering the ability to charge up to 300 km in about 15 minutes.
Throughout the year, Nima plans to open three additional sites on Vallhallavägen, Gustavlundsvägen, and Ringvägen, adding 38 more ultra-fast charging points, each with a capacity of up to 300 kW. This will bring the total number of ultra-fast charging points in Stockholm to 50.
Nima’s investment will provide Stockholm’s inner city with its first ultra-fast charging points, supporting the city’s decision to introduce environmental zone class 3 in part of the city as a step towards an emission-free inner city by 2030.
Nima is currently constructing 150 ultra-fast EV charging points from Malmö to Stockholm. This is part of the company’s plan to build a total of 1,250 charging points in the Nordic region by the end of 2026.
Nima charges SEK 4.50 per kWh, regardless of whether customers use a debit card directly on a card reader on the charger, use Apple/Samsung/Google Pay, or pay via the Nima Energy app where they can also register for autocharge.
