Mullen, Phenix Truck & Van and Knapheide’s new class 3 lightweight EV service body, made for municipalities and public utilities
Mullen Automotive, Inc. has announced the completion of a lightweight service truck body for the All-Electric Mullen THREE.
The Mullen THREE has a range of 125 miles and offers Level 3 DC charge time of 1.5 hrs. It features a turning diameter of 38 ft and a versatile chassis that provides a clean top-of-rail for easy upfitting with bodies up to 14 feet in length and over 5,800 lbs. of payload.
This project was developed in collaboration with Phenix Truck Bodies & Van Equipment and Knapheide Manufacturing.
The teams have designed a unique, lightweight body configuration for Class 3 service body truck fleets, targeting municipalities and public utilities. The Mullen THREE Class 3 vehicle upfit is now available for commercial fleet customers for evaluation and pilot programs.
