Malaysia’s largest fleet of BEV buses set to launch

Chinese Electric bus maker FOTON announced they will help Malaysia’s green logistics initiatives by launching a fleet of 46 FOTON pure electric buses in Johor Bahru.
These buses will operate as dedicated vehicles on the route between Johor Bahru and Singapore, providing efficient transportation services for residents of both cities. This represents the largest order of pure electric buses exported from China to Malaysia and contributes to the growth of Malaysia’s fleet of pure electric buses.
In recent years, FOTON has expanded from the Chinese market to the global market, with products present across Australia, Asia-Pacific, and South America. Over 1,400 pure electric buses have been delivered in Latin America alone. FOTON’s pure electric and hydrogen fuel cell buses have also been commercially operated in core scenarios such as public transportation systems and international airports in Malta, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, India, and Egypt.
