KOSTAL expands in Mexico: Electro Mobility Mexicana

KOSTAL Automobil Elektrik (KAE), an automotive electrical systems manufacturer, has recently inaugurated its latest production facility in Querétaro, Mexico. The new plant, known as KOSTAL Electro Mobility Mexicana (KEMM), is the third facility that the KOSTAL Group has established in the state of Querétaro.

The KEMM plant is set to generate 750 new jobs and will be responsible for the production of onboard chargers (OBC) for KOSTAL’s OEM customers in the USA.

On 25 October 2023, KOSTAL marked the 50th anniversary of its Mexican subsidiary in Querétaro.
