Go-Ahead London is trialing Wrightbus’ Electroliner electric bus

Go-Ahead London, a bus operator, is trialling the double-deck battery-electric bus, StreetDeck Electroliner by Wrightbus.
The bus was launched in 2021, and since has been showcased across the UK to demonstrate its capabilities to local authorities. Wrightbus is hoping to build on their success, having secured orders from Arriva and Abellio last year, set for London deployment soon.
The StreetDeck Electroliner is a combination of range and efficiency, offering class-leading recharge times. According to Wrightbus: Official assessments conducted at UTAC using the ZEMO-accredited Ultra Low Emission Bus (ULEB) test showed that the Electroliner achieved a result of 0.69 kWh/km. This is approximately half the energy consumed by its closest BEV double deck UK rival and significantly better than all other BEV single deck bus results published on the ZEMO website. According to ULEB calculations, the StreetDeck Electroliner also produces 86% less CO2 per km than the ZEMO Euro6 Diesel baseline.
