GaN Systems, has formed a strategic alliance with ACEpower, a Chinese power supply, charging module, and OBC manufacturer. The collaboration aims to fast-track the broad acceptance of GaN technology in China’s electric vehicle market.

The focus is on topology optimization, advanced integrated power modules, and high-frequency magnetics design to enhance efficiency and power density.

Future plans include the joint development of high-power density GaN-powered OBCs rated at 6.6kW and 11kW for electric vehicles.
