Evolito gets first approvals for electric airplane powertrains, first in the UK (for electric planes)

The UK’s Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has awarded Evolito the UK’s Design Organisation Approval (DOA) for their electric plane propulsion systems, the first in the country to receive it for electric aviation.
The UK Civil Aviation Authority’s approval of Evolito as a Design Organisation demonstrates that it is satisfied that Evolito has the technical expertise, facilities and capabilities to design safe and reliable products, and is able to comply with stringent requirements for certification.
This accreditation is a significant milestone towards the certification of Evolito’s products, as well as supporting customer requirements to certify their electric and hybrid aircraft.
With the first approval out of the way, next up they’ll be working on Type Certification, which is necessary to prove an electric aircraft, it’s propulsion system or propellor are safe for commercial use.
