Eaton’s EV charging digital twin network software is speeding up charger rollouts in commercial, residential, and private sectors

Eaton has announced their automated and dynamic load management approach to installing EV charging stations, mitigating complex and expensive upgrades for existing infrastructure. The solution can safely maximize the charging capabilities of existing electrical systems.

Eaton’s Charging Network Manager software is a fully integrated monitoring, management, and commissioning software solution for EV charging stations and networks. The platform delivers on dynamic load management by creating a digital twin of the electric system to safely stretch available electrical capacity and provide the fastest charge possible.

Eaton’s Charging Network Manager software is uniquely able to monitor charging station energy usage in real-time, reallocate power as available to other networked chargers, and balance energy demand across three-phase power systems. Eaton’s approach can help customers optimize their energy systems and minimize the infrastructure upgrades required to support EV charging deployments.

The solution was developed in collaboration with ChargeLab, a North American leader in open EV charger management software.
