Bel Fuse launches new EV fuses suitable from 5 – 800 amps

Bel Fuse has released a new range of fuses designed to support the burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market. These fuses come in a variety of formats and mounting options, suitable for operating temperatures between -40℃ to 100℃, with some products featuring a range of up to 125℃. Depending on the intended use, the fuses also feature a wide range of current ratings, from as low as 5 A to as high as 800 A.

These fuses are designed for use in battery modules, packs, junction boxes, chargers, stations, and auxiliary circuits. This release comes in response to the maturing EV market, particularly in Europe. The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) reports that EV and hybrid sales are rebounding in 2024, with significant increases in key markets such as Belgium and Germany.

Bel Fuse is expanding its offerings for both overload and short circuit protection to meet the growing global demand for electric and hybrid vehicle adoption.
