ARaymond & ACC collaborate to improve European EV batteries

ARaymond, a fastening and assembly system maker, and ACC, a European automotive battery manufacturer, have partnered to co-innovate new and improved battery cell solutions for electric vehicles (EV).

The partnership aims to support the growth of electric mobility and bring circular business options closer. ACC produces the battery cells, while ARaymond manufactures the cell collectors. While cell connectors may appear to be simple at first glance, they have highly complex adaptation, finishing, and integration specifications. ACC and ARaymond have precisely the high-voltage, high-volume production, and cleanliness expertise required to provide the volumes, timely delivery, and quality EV automakers demand. 

The companies are also co-innovating a new battery cell-to-cell connection technology that will allow cells inside the battery pack to be disassembled, serviced, and recycled, extending the battery lifecycle and improving environmental impact.
